We are working on behalf of an elite international firm to recruit a Business Development Specialist supporting the firms Corporate & Financial Services practice areas. This is an exciting opportunity to drive strategic pitches and proposals develop impactful client-facing materials and play a key role in advancing marketing and business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proposal and Pitch Development: Draft tailored compelling and responsive pitches proposals and RFP responses that effectively position the firm to secure new business opportunities. Maintain and update pitch templates to ensure consistency and brand alignment.
- Content and Data Management: Collect matter experience and leverage relevant information across marketing collateral league tables and directories. Maintain and update practice-related content including experience lists practice and matter descriptions.
- Event Coordination: Collaborate with the Events team to plan and execute impactful client events that support business development objectives.
- Directory Rankings: Coordinate legal directories by managing timelines reference lists and collecting experience. Gather matters for inclusion in directories and assist in drafting directry submissions documents. Track and record Corporate & Financial Services accolades and rankings for use in marketing materials.
- Marketing & Profile-Raising: Contribute to broader marketing and profile-raising efforts in collaboration with Communications and Client Development teams.
Credentials and Expertise:
- Educational Background: A bachelors degree is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of marketing business development or related experience preferably within a professional services or law firm environment.
- Capabilities: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels a keen eye for detail and proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment demonstrating both independent initiative and effective teamwork. Willingness to build knowledge base of practice areas and learn nuances of the practices and services of the firm.
