Our client a well-established and reputable RV dealership is seeking an experienced RV Warranty Administrator to join their team in Grand Rapids MI. This role is critical to ensuring smooth and efficient warranty processing with manufacturers after-market providers and vendors. The Warranty Administrator will oversee the submission and tracking of all claims ensuring accuracy compliance and timely collection of all warranty revenues.
Key Responsibilities:
Process all warranty claims according to manufacturer and after-market provider guidelines.
Review repair orders for accuracy required documentation and compliance before submission.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of manufacturer warranty policies procedures and time allowances.
Monitor outstanding claims and follow up to ensure timely payment.
Collaborate with service advisors technicians and parts personnel to obtain necessary documentation and clarify claim details.
Maintain detailed records of claims submitted paid and denied.
Prepare monthly warranty reports for management.
Address denied claims promptly and work with manufacturers for resolution.
Support the service department in maintaining profitability and efficient operations.
Qualifications:
Prior experience as a Warranty Administrator in the RV marine powersports heavy truck or automotive industries preferred.
Strong understanding of manufacturer warranty processes and software systems (e.g. IDS CDK Dealertrack or equivalent).
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word Outlook).
Certifications & Preferred Skills:
RVDA Warranty Administrator certification (preferred).
Experience with RV-specific warranty submission systems.
Knowledge of manufacturer programs for brands such as Thor Forest River Winnebago Jayco and Keystone.
