Our client a premier Am Law 100 global law firm is seeking a Business Development Specialist to support marketing and business development initiatives for its Litigation Practice Groups. This role involves working closely with attorneys and cross-functional BD and marketing teams to execute profile-raising strategies drive client engagement and support revenue-generating efforts across the firms litigation platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft and produce compelling pitches proposals and RFP responses in collaboration with attorneys and BD leadership.
Develop update and maintain marketing collateral such as practice descriptions attorney bios experience lists and web content.
Manage firm sponsorships and industry partnerships to maximize visibility and return on investment.
Conduct research on prospects clients and market trends to support business development initiatives and cross-practice collaboration.
Coordinate submissions for legal directories rankings and awards relevant to litigation.
Partner with events and attorney teams to plan and execute high-quality webinars CLEs and client-facing programs.
Collaborate with marketing and communications teams on PR efforts editorial content design and digital marketing.
Build subject matter knowledge of the firms litigation capabilities to enhance strategic marketing support.
Assist with special projects and perform other related duties as needed.
Qualifications & Proficiencies:
Bachelors degree in marketing business law or related field (required).
Minimum of 5 years of professional marketing/business development experience within a law firm environment.
Prior experience supporting a litigation practice group.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM systems and legal marketing tools is a plus.
Knowledge of legal services marketing principles trends and best practices.
Ability to manage multiple projects meet deadlines and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Solid understanding of law firm structure and the expectations of corporate legal clients.
