Position Summary

The Information Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately entering updating and maintaining data in company systems and databases. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the integrity and accessibility of business information. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented efficient and capable of handling repetitive tasks with a high level of accuracy.


Key Responsibilities

  • Enter and update information into internal databases with speed and accuracy

  • Verify data for completeness correctness and consistency

  • Perform regular data audits to ensure integrity and quality

  • Retrieve information from documents forms and other sources for data entry

  • Maintain electronic and physical filing systems as needed

  • Communicate with team members to clarify missing or unclear information

  • Protect sensitive information and adhere to confidentiality guidelines

  • Assist with generating reports or summaries as requested

  • Support administrative tasks related to documentation and information processing


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education is a plus

  • Previous experience in data entry or administrative support preferred

  • Strong typing skills (speed and accuracy)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word)

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal

  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations and best practices
