Adelphi is seeking Behavior Technicians (BT)to provide behavioral support services in a school district in Montgomery County Virginia. The Behavior Technician will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement behavior intervention plans and support students in achieving their educational and behavioral goals.

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate or Bachelor s degree in a related field preferred).
Certification as a Behavior Technician preferred but not required.
Experience working with children or students with developmental disabilities.
Knowledge of behavioral principles and strategies.
Ability to take direction and implement behavior plans designed by a BCBA.
Experience in a school setting preferred.
Responsibilities
Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the BCBA.
Collect and record accurate data on student progress and behaviors.
Assist in maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment.
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students as needed.
Participate in training sessions meetings and professional development.
Collaborate with teachers therapists and parents to support student success.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervising BCBA or school administration.
