Job Description
The Senior Web Content Writer is responsible for providing textual content for TEA websites that enable us to communicate with stakeholders clearly accurately and appropriately. Duties include:
conducting research on relevant topics and strategies used by other states or agencies on comparable projects
defining content strategies for presenting complex information clearly and usably for the relevant audience
writing editing and fact-checking content prior to publication
collaborating with cross-divisional and cross-agency teams to align content with stakeholder needs
utilizing agency standards to maintain consistent branding and tone across all touchpoints
editing content for clarity grammar and tone
reviewing and enhancing the website for performance design SEO and user experience providing ongoing updates and recommendations including dynamic project updates
managing project timelines and meeting deadlines successfully
The Senior Web Content Writer works closely with other members of their team including subject matter experts UI/UX designers business analysts developers and testers. This position relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and independently performs a variety of complicated tasks; a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. The successful applicant will be organized resourceful and creative with the ability to work independently while staying aligned with the team.
