Job Description

Our client a prestigious childrens hospital in Philadelphia is seeking a full-time Pediatric Geneticist to join their well-established and growing genetics practice. This dynamic team is embedded within a comprehensive pediatric healthcare environment that includes a Level IV NICU PICU trauma services and a wide spectrum of inpatient and outpatient pediatric specialties.

Position Highlights:

Join a collaborative multidisciplinary team that includes a geneticist RN genetic counselor and dedicated administrative staff

Provide consultative services for a variety of conditions including pediatric cancer predisposition intellectual disabilities and genetic syndromes

Monday-Friday schedule with no weekend or on-call responsibilities

Opportunities to participate in clinical research and ongoing trials

Play an active role in medical education by teaching residents and medical students

Work with a diverse patient population in both inpatient and outpatient settings

Genetics practice located on the hospital campus for seamless integration and collaboration

Qualifications:

Board Eligible/Board Certified in Clinical Genetics & Genomics (ABMGG)

Ability to obtain and maintain an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license

DEA certification (or eligibility) in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
