Our client is seeking experienced Mental Health Therapists to provide comprehensive psychological care within a correctional environment. This role focuses on conducting assessments delivering evidence-based treatments and supporting the mental well-being of individuals in custody through individualized care plans and crisis intervention.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct mental health screenings and clinical assessments through record review and inmate interviews.
Develop implement and modify individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs and functioning levels.
Deliver therapeutic interventions including individual counseling and crisis management services.
Document evaluations progress notes and treatment plans in the healthcare record in compliance with facility protocols.
Maintain strict confidentiality and handle all sensitive information with professionalism.
Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of psychological counseling methods and clinical best practices.
Collaborate with facility staff and medical teams to ensure coordinated care delivery.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Social Work Psychology Mental Health Counseling or a related clinical field from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience including at least 2 years in a similar setting or population.
Active and unrestricted LPC LMFT or LCSW license in the state of practice is required.
Strong clinical judgment documentation skills and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
