Are you ready to lead a team dedicated to flawless operations and world-class materials management As the Supervisor of Materials at LGC you will coordinate and lead all aspects of daily activities ensuring the smooth flow of in-bound and out-bound shipments. You will coordinate our cycle count and physical inventory programs maintaining outstanding accuracy and compliance with established instructions. Your role involves supporting and guiding materials personnel to meet the needs of Manufacturing Research and Development and Product Development departments.
In this role you will manage employee PTO schedules ensure accurate staffing and complete timecard duties. You will enforce adherence to written SOPs and provide a workplace where initiative is encouraged success is rewarded and employees are treated with respect and recognition. Conducting employee performance reviews ensuring training compliance and upholding the Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) policy are key responsibilities. You will also perform other duties as required to meet business needs.
Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of supervisory experience or working knowledge in Materials Management within the diagnostic or biotech industry.
- Strong organizational skills with a proven initiative to achieve departmental goals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Working knowledge of an ERP system preferably SAP.
- Ability to accomplish operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on results.
- Capability to foster a team environment where all members contribute equally and roles are clearly defined.
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of WM SAP.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
Additional Information :
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: $62250 USD/annual salary
Maximum: $95450 USD/annual salary
New hires receive a salary between the minimum and maximum of the range with the amount offered determined by factors such as internal equity education previous experience and skills relevant to the position.
This position is eligible for a discretionary bonus program.
