Controller Opportunity:
- Full-time direct-hire position
- Schedule: Mon Fri day shift
- The Controller must be available for occasional evening weekend and holiday shifts as needed.
Controller Responsibilities:
- Oversee all hospital financial operations including budgeting forecasting audits and internal controls while leading and motivating accounting staff to meet departmental goals.
- Manage the full accounting cycle billing A/R A/P payroll general ledger and financial reporting for inpatient outpatient and ancillary services.
- Prepare and submit financial packages forecasts cost reports and required state filings; monitor labor productivity and ensure compliance with Medicare and corporate policies.
- Serve as a key member of the senior leadership team supporting a culture of accountability inclusion and continuous improvement; participate in leadership meetings and ensure completion of all required training and reporting.
Controller Qualifications:
- Must have at minimum a Bachelors degree in Business Administration/Management with a major in Accounting.
- At least five years of hospital accounting experience.
- At least one year of experience as a financial leader in a healthcare setting.
- CPA certification preferred
