Atlas Advisors is actively seeking interpreters to provide linguistic support to U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM). Selected candidates will be providing general language support for military operations and interpret during interviews meetings and conferences. We are looking for both Cleared U.S. Linguist and Local National Linguist from select countries.

Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS U.S. Citizens
US citizen
Active Secret Security Clearance
Able to meet the language requirements outlined below
Minimum of three years experience as a linguist (written and spoken communications) is required.
Excellent command of both the English and target language.
Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with individuals or groups from various levels and backgrounds.
Must be in good physical condition with no health deficiencies either temporary or long-lasting that would impair performance.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Local National Linguist
Citizen of a host nation within the U.S. CENTCOM
Native proficiency in the target language and professional proficiency in English.
Able to pass required background checks and obtain base access credentials.
Capable of performing the following duties:
Monitoring translating and synopsizing content of real-time oral communications and recordings.
Transcribing from storage media including audio-cassettes videocassettes or digital media and typing in both the required target
Preparing typed English translations from other source media
Performing quality control reviews of completed work
Validating the accuracy of completed translations and transcriptions
Interpreting oral conversations concurrently/simultaneously
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working in a high-threat environment and experience with US Department of State security operations
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
Fluent in and English and Target Language
Score at least a 3/3/3 writing reading and speaking (WRS) in target language
Score at least a 2/2/2 writing reading and speaking (WRS) in English
