Job Description

Chicago or Washington DC (preferred check with me regarding other US cities)
Hybrid - 2 to 3 days onsite


Our client an Am Law 100 firm is seeking an Associate to join its Customs & International Trade practice group with a preference for candidates based in the Chicago or Washington D.C. offices.


Candidates should have 2 to 3 years (ONLY)) of import-related experience gained in a law firm in-house legal department or with the U.S. government. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative nationally recognized team advising on a wide range of international trade and customs matters.


Qualifications:

J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials


2 to 3 years of experience in import compliance trade regulations or customs matters


Excellent legal research writing and analytical skills


Ability to manage multiple assignments and work effectively across offices


Strong commitment to client service and teamwork


We are seeking candidates with 2 to 3 years of experience excellent academic record and a stable resume - please no jumpy temp or freelance-focused experience.
