Job Description

Description

The Associate Researcher I is a computational research support position within the AI and Human Health department and the Department of Obstetrics Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences. The individual will assist in the implementation maintenance and execution of machine learning (ML) and natural language processing (NLP) pipelines including large-scale experiments on high-performance computing (HPC) environments. This role includes data maintenance and supporting data processing workflows for translational research in womens health and reproductive science



Responsibilities
  • Supports routine ML and NLP experiments using Python and the Hugging Face ecosystem.

  • Assists in the interpretation and visualization of ML results for clinical and research audiences.

  • Helps manage computing resources datasets and storage needs for ongoing projects.

  • Assists in the preparation of results for presentations manuscripts and grant reports.

  • Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams including clinicians data scientists and research staff.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.



Qualifications
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in science or related field required
  • 1 - 2 years of research/laboratory experience
  • MS Office Suite: basic and Python: intermediate
