Special Education Teacher K 2 Self-Contained (Autism Focus)School Year
Clarifi Staffing Solutions is looking for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to guide a self-contained K 2 classroom designed for students with low-incidence disabilities with a primary focus on autism. This full-time opportunity begins in Fall 2025 and spans the entire academic year providing the chance to positively influence the growth and development of young learners.
In this position you will deliver individualized instruction tailored to each student s IEP goals carefully monitor progress and maintain a safe structured classroom that encourages both learning and confidence. Collaboration will be key as you partner with families classroom aides and related service professionals to support students in strengthening their academic functional and social-emotional skills within an environment built to meet their unique needs.
As a Special Education Teacher you will play a vital role in advocating for the needs of exceptional students while creating an inclusive classroom where every learner feels valued and respected. You ll accommodate diverse learning styles abilities and needs by tailoring instruction and supports to promote academic and personal success. Collaboration will be central to your work as you partner with families paraprofessionals and multidisciplinary teams to ensure students overall growth and addition you will implement behavioral interventions when needed fostering positive behavior and supporting social-emotional learning.
Requirements
To be considered for this role candidates should have proven experience as a Special Education Teacher or in a closely related position along with a strong background in working with children who have a wide range of disabilities. An active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a special education (LBS1) endorsement is required. A bachelor s degree from an accredited university is necessary while a master s degree is highly preferred.
