Job Description

School Social Worker (Maternity Leave Coverage) Fall 2025

Clarifi Staffing Solutions is seeking a licensed School Social Worker to provide short-term coverage during a maternity leave from September 2 through October 31 2025. This full-time assignment is based in a K 5 elementary school and involves supporting a caseload of approximately 24 students across both general education and special education settings.

In this role you will deliver direct social work services participate in IEP/504 meetings and collaborate with teachers administrators and families to promote student success. Responsibilities include providing individual and group support assisting with behavioral interventions and helping students build coping and social-emotional skills. Your work will play an important role in fostering a positive and inclusive school environment where every child feels supported.

Requirements

  • Previous school-based experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Master s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
  • Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement.
