Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of machining processes and be adept at operating CNC machinery to produce precision components. This role requires attention to detail a commitment to quality and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Set up and operate CNC milling machines and lathes according to specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges and coordinate measuring machines to ensure accuracy of finished products.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot any operational issues.
  • Select appropriate tooling and hand tools for each machining task.
  • Monitor production processes for quality control making adjustments as necessary.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams using SolidWorks for design modifications and improvements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
  • History of running HAAS VF3/ VF2 and a SL20 Lathe
  • Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with precision measuring instruments including bore gauges and coordinate measuring machines.
  • Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of tooling machining techniques and operation of milling machines.
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 45 per week
