Sika is looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to join our thriving team in Madison Heights Michigan.
At Sika the Key Account Manager will play a key role in:
Key Responsibilities:
Develop annual and three-year strategic sales plans for assigned accounts in accordance with the Automotive Units sales and profit objectives; assist in the development of annual budget and action plans for assigned accounts; recommend and execute agreed-upon sales strategy and marketing plan/programs according to annual budget and three year plan to meet sales growth margin and profit objectives.
Achieve sales goals EBIT objectives and growth objectives on an annual basis for assigned accounts based on coordinated and targeted action plans pricing and product mix strategies
Manage and implement sales activities to achieve sales and profit objectives in assigned accounts
Ensure effective management and resolution of issues related to customer service responsibilities including invoicing re-bills debits/credits customer response effectiveness etc.; act as a resource in identifying and resolving issues
Establish and maintain key industry contacts and trade relations
Deliver sales presentations to key clients
Perform special projects and other duties as required by the Director(s) and VP of Sales
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree or equivalent required preferably in business or engineering field
Minimum five years of progressively responsible sales experience in which the candidate must have demonstrated a proven track record in achieving specific goals.
Must have proven record of creativity innovation sales growth and significant achievement
Familiarity with adhesives sealants or acoustics in the automotive industry preferred
Must have excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills excellent oral and written communication skills excellent analytical planning and time management skills and quantitative skills
