Job Summary
Position Responsibilities:
- Verification of sample submissions to Quality Control
- Documentation of sample transactions in Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
- Handling storage and organization of samples
- Delivering samples to QC laboratories for testing as required
- Interacting with outside customers and functional peer groups
- Fulfilling sample pull requests
- Compliance with all pertinent regulatory agency requirements
- Conducting temperature environmental and/or CO2 monitoring.
- Preparation of samples for shipment
- Performing sample inventory and disposal
- Ensuring compliance with SOPs; reports any quality or other anomalies through the Deviation Notification and Resolution system
Leadership Responsibilities
- Leading direct reports group leaders and their teams and serving clients in technical settings such as laboratories or manufacturing facilities
- Disseminate administrative communications
- Demonstrate and promote the company vision
- Proactively plan and multitask to maximize productivity
- Meet all quality and productivity metrics and demonstrate strong teamwork and collaboration
- Coordinate scheduling and allocation of responsibilities and new hire on-boarding process
- Coordinates training program
- Development of teambuilding strategies and initiatives
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in life sciences
- Minimum of three years previous leadership experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- cGMP experience required
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
- Candidates within a commutable distance of Rensselaer NY are encouraged to apply
Additional Information :
Position is full-time with a 2nd shift Monday-Friday schedule: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Base compensation is $35-$41 per hour based on experience.
2nd shift includes a 10% shift differential
