Job Summary
- Supporting cell-based bioassays and binding assays for biological characterization and testing of biopharmaceutical products
- Carrying out bioanalytical cell-based assay testing of recombinant protein therapeutics
- Assisting in the identification and evaluation of new technologies
- Making detailed observations analyzing data interpreting results and exercising appropriate technical discretion in the design and execution of experiments
- Performing cell culture maintaining cell lines and performing routine lab equipment maintenance
- Presenting results at internal meetings
Qualifications :
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Strong computer scientific and organizational skills
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
- Good time management outstanding multi-tasking abilities self-motivation adaptability and a positive attitude
- Ability to learn new techniques keep accurate records follow instructions and comply with company policies
- Good documentation skills
Basic Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in biology chemistry or other related degree concentration with 1-4 years of relevant experience working with cell-based assays in an industry environment
- Prior experience with cell culture and in vitro assays and their application in biological characterization for biologics
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

The position is Full Time Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Gaithersburg MD are encouraged to apply.

- Hourly Compensation: $27.00 to $32.00 depending on education and experience
- Estimated Annual Salary: $56160 $66560
