Job Summary
Job Title: Maintenance Technician MFD
Summary: Responsible for maintenance and repair of production equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned
- Performs routine preventative maintenance on a daily weekly and monthly basis to manufactures specifications on Paint Booths Ovens Salt Spray Cabinet and Filter Press.
- Repair of hydraulics pneumatics electronic controls electrical wiring and plumbing.
- Trouble test and assess the operation of machinery to detect the cause of malfunction.
- Reads and follows blueprints sketches diagrams lubrication charts manufacturer operation manuals and engineering specifications.
- Possess ability to use tools and alignment equipment.
- Assembles disassembles and/or replaces equipment parts as required.
- Follows manufacturers and company safety policies.
- Performs other maintenance duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- One year or more experience plumbing electrical and hydraulics preferred.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this Job the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop kneel crouch or crawl and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
