Job Summary
- Operate and maintain various laundry equipment including washers dryers and folding machines
- Sort wash dry and fold linens towels and other textiles according to established procedures
- Apply appropriate cleaning techniques for different fabric types and handle stain removal effectively
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment
- Manage laundry inventory and report any supply needs to the supervisor
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and textiles
- Adhere to quality control standards and inspect items for cleanliness and damage
- Assist in training new team members on laundry procedures and best practices
- Respond to special requests from guests or other departments in a timely manner
Qualifications :
- Proficiency in operating laundry equipment including washers dryers and folding machines
- Knowledge of fabric care and stain removal techniques
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills for inventory management and record-keeping
- Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to providing excellent service
- Prior experience in laundry operations or the hospitality industry is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
Additional Information :
Prior experience working with Opera or a related system.
Additional languages are a plus.
