Position Title: Assistant Procurement Manager
General Purpose:
Support the Procurement Manager in leading procurement operations supplier management and logistics coordination to ensure cost-e ective and timely sourcing of goods and services for the company s projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee procurement o cers in daily operations.
Assist in developing procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.
Source evaluate and establish contracts with qualified local and overseas suppliers.
Negotiate pricing terms and long-term supply agreements.
Review and approve purchase orders and supplier contracts within delegated authority.
Coordinate with logistics providers freight forwarders and internal teams to ensure smooth import/export processes.
Monitor supplier performance and conduct periodic evaluations.
Prepare procurement and logistics reports for management review.
Ensure compliance with company policies legal requirements and international trade regulations.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor s Degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management Engineering or related fields.
Experience: Minimum 3 5 years in procurement including international sourcing and logistics; experience in heavy industries or construction projects preferred.
Skills:
Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
Good command of written and spoken English.
Proficiency in MS O ce and ERP systems.
Strong analytical planning and problem-solving abilities.
