Job Summary
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Capable of developing and deploying data science solutions to support analytics and digital transformation initiatives
- Develops projects to monitor and analyze trends in HDD Head and Media parametric performance
- Creates solutions to support failure analysis by identifying possible causes using machine learning or other analytical tools
- Develops tools to automate the qualification result analysis of head media and code
- Supports yield improvement and reliability tracking for HDD
Qualifications :
REQUIRED:
- Pursuing a bachelors or masters degree in Data Science Computer science or a related field
PREFERRED:
- Time management and project execution
- Demonstrate a good level of English proficiency; internship period must be at least 4-6 months
SKILLS:
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python SQL Tableau Power BI Spotfire Big Data platforms AWS Redshift etc.
- Familiar with some of the following Statistical Analysis & Modelling Tools: JMP Minitab SPSS Enterprise Miner Enterprise Guide SAS coding
- Knowledge or experience with data visualization methods
- Self-motivated self-directed and ability to work well with people
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
