About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Team Manager (Acting Consultancy Assignment) to lead the User Support & Client Services unit within the IT Department of a government authority. This newly established unit plays a crucial role in delivering secure and efficient internal IT services during an ongoing organizational transformation.
What Youll Do
- Lead a team of 12 employees 1 consultant with full personnel and budget responsibility.
- Manage system specialists (hardware software packaging VDI) and user support staff (Helpdesk & on-site).
- Drive both strategic and operational development of IT support services.
- Actively contribute to management team discussions and strategic planning.
- Oversee budgeting financial follow-up and forecasting.
- Conduct employee appraisals performance reviews and salary discussions.
- Support agile teams and release trains in daily operations.
- Play a key role in the agile transformation (SAFe framework).
- Contribute to the long-term development of internal IT services.
What Were Looking For
- Several years of leadership experience with formal personnel & budget responsibility (ideally in 250 employee organizations).
- Strong IT background with experience in strategic change management.
- Proven ability to lead IT support functions (Helpdesk on-site support).
- Hands-on experience working in agile environments (SAFe framework).
- Fluent Swedish (spoken & written) is required.
- Strong analytical and strategic leadership skills.
