Are you passionate about good governance and making impact count NRC Sweden is on the lookout for a Governance & Reporting Coordinator to help keep our operations sharp transparent and impactful!
In this key role youll ensure NRC Sweden stays fully aligned with Swedish laws regulations and non-profit reporting standards while also serving as Secretary to our Board. Youll be the bridge between governance and growth supporting our private fundraising team so that NRC Sweden can deliver on its ambitious fundraising goals and strengthen support for displaced people worldwide.
NRC Sweden (Insamlingsstiftelsen NRC Flyktinghjlpen Sverige) established in 2016 is dedicated to raising awareness mobilising resources and advocating for the rights of displaced people. As part of NRCs Global Private Fundraising team youll join a vibrant international network working to engage individuals and organisations build lasting partnerships and raise the flexible funding that powers our humanitarian mission.
The ideal candidate must be aresident in Sweden with a Swedish BankID.
What you will do:
Some of your specific responsibilities include
Board of Directors:
- Serve as secretary to the board of directors NRC Sweden.
- Responsible for the coordination of the NRC Sweden board meetings including the creation and translation of the meeting minutes.
- Responsible for official governance documents in coordination with relevant departments and persons including ensuring that these are kept up to date and submitted to relevant stakeholders and authorities.
Governance:
- Ensure NRC Swedens adherence to relevant legal/regulatory requirements and reporting obligations for non-profit entities.
- Ensure NRC Swedens adherence to NRC policies as well as relevant donor regulations and procedures.
- Execute and ensure all necessary reporting including annual report and impact report.
- Support adherence to Sweden fundraising laws and regulations including non-profit registration and privacy regulations.
- Manage external providers of business services including legal help accounting insurance providers banking financial institutions and licencing agents
- Support office management including office space procurement ICT and health safety and security (HSS)
Finance administration:
- Support the operational and financial administration of NRC Sweden including handling of invoices daily work communication with accounting firm
- Monitor the NRC Sweden budget including forecasting and monitoring of cash flow
- Joint signatories on NRC Sweden bank accounts.
- Other tasks delegated by CFO HO Oslo.
Support to HR:
- Responsible for local aspects of HR processes and systems in cooperation with HR pool and 3rd party partners
- Support on employment requirements and legislation

What you will bring:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent ideally in Business Administration Finance Human Resources
- Ideally experience of donor audits and compliance
- Attention to detail and focus on quality
- Strong computer skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with human resource policies and best practice in Sweden
- Fluency in Swedish and English both written and verbal
- Resident in Sweden with a Swedish BankID.
- Knowledge of Sweden regulatory requirements for non-profit entities and proven track record in managing adherence to these.
- Knowledge in financial management and reporting for Sweden
- Experience in managing and influencing in complex matrix environments
- Self-motivated and independent with a positive attitude
- Flexible innovative and effective in working collaboratively as part of a multicultural team.
What we offer:
- Duty station: Stockholm Sweden.
- Contract: Part-time (50%) & Permanent.
- Salary/benefits: grade 7 on NRCs Resident salary scale with accompanying terms and conditions.
