What will you do
- Work closely with app developers product managers and partnership managers to improve the quality of third-party apps so that they may be distributed to our OEMs according to our standards.
- Execute tests in diverse environments including early-stage prototypes Android-based in-car systems and emulators to simulate real-world usage.
- Perform functional regression and exploratory testing to uncover defects inconsistencies or performance issues in software builds.
- Accurately document test results maintain detailed records of test executions and create clear bug reports with actionable feedback.
- Actively collaborate with developers for root cause analysis and provide input for process and product enhancements.
What are we looking for
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in quality assurance preferably in the automotive or embedded software domain.
- Familiarity with Android-based systems and car emulator tools.
- Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience with test management/execution and bug tracking tools (e.g. JIRA TestRail).
- Attention to detail with a passion for product quality and end-user experience.
- Proficiency in English.
