The Opportunity
As a Senior Actuarial Analyst youll play a key role in mentoring and developing junior team members while acting as a subject matter expert on pensions. Youll be responsible for guiding colleagues and overseeing actuarial work. Your main functions will be:
- Provide actuarial and data services to the pensions market as part of a collaborative team.
- Act as an expert in technical actuarial matters related to pensions.
- Analyze and produce reports based on client needs and business requirements.
- Process and validate data with precision ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines.
- Manage projects effectively planning and prioritizing tasks.
- Track progress on daily weekly and monthly project deliverables.
- Identify risks and issues escalating them when necessary.
- Build strong relationships with consulting office teams.
- Support team members mentoring junior colleagues and assisting senior stakeholders.
- Stay up to date with regulatory and industry developments.
QualificationsWhat Were Looking For
Were seeking a highly motivated actuarial professional who thrives in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
Your Profile:
- FIA qualifiedor making strong exam progress
- Proven experiencein actuarial valuation work and/or actuarial consultancy.
- Deep knowledge of Pensions particularly legislative requirements and complexities in European markets.
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills in Excel
- Up-to-date awareness of industry trends and how they impact clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to analyze complex data
- Team-oriented approach eager to mentor and support colleagues
