The Role

Belgiums pension landscape has undergone a seismic shift with the implementation of the new pension agreement. This transformation means current pension schemes have adapted opening the door to complex meaningful and impactful actuarial work.

As an Actuarial Consultant at WTW youll collaborate with both local and international colleagues on a wide range of projects involving employee benefit plans. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing actuarial valuations for corporate reporting (USGAAP IFRS) and statutory pension fund reporting;
  • Managing and reporting on pension funds ensuring full compliance;
  • Supporting plan design through actuarial modeling implementation and employee communication strategies;
  • Conducting benefit audits and benchmarking studies;
  • Engaging in asset/liability modeling;
  • Leading employee communication initiatives;
  • Contributing to M&A studies from a benefits perspective.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • A degree in Actuarial Science Mathematics Economics or similar. Other qualifications may be considered based on experience;
  • 15 years of relevant experience in employee benefitswhether in consulting insurance broking or finance;
  • Fluency in English is mandatory. Dutch and/or French would be a great plus.
  • Proficiency inIT tools in particular MS Office such as Excel.
  • Strong communicator detail oriented numerical and flexible.
  • You thrive in collaborative team environments and enjoy working with others to achieve our goals.
