Job Description

This is a remote position.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 9 AM 6 PM EST (1-hour unpaid break)
Client Timezone: EST (New Jersey)
Total Weekly Hours: 40 Hours

As a Property Management Assistant you ll play a vital role in streamlining operations for a dynamic property management firm. You will handle tenant inquiries coordinate property viewings and ensure smooth communication between prospective renters and on-site staff. Working remotely you ll use platforms like Zillow to market properties and engage with applicants. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the real estate industry while contributing to the growth of an ambitious property management business.



Responsibilities
  • Create and manage engaging rental listings on platforms such as Zillow.

  • Respond promptly to and qualify tenant inquiries via phone and email.

  • Conduct initial applicant screenings and guide candidates through the application process.

  • Coordinate property tours with on-site managers to ensure seamless viewing experiences.

  • Maintain accurate records of inquiries applications and scheduled viewings.

  • Collaborate with on-site staff to ensure consistent communication and service quality.

  • Assist in streamlining and optimizing the tenant acquisition process.



Requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Proficiency with property listing platforms particularly Zillow.

  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

  • Basic understanding of property management or real estate processes.

  • Adaptability to quickly learn new digital tools and systems.

  • Customer service-oriented with a professional demeanor.

  • Comfortable with remote work and phone-based responsibilities.

  • Experience or strong interest in long-term rental property management.
