Job Description

This is a remote position.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in a full-time remote role. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records preparing financial statements and ensuring seamless financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage financial records
  • Prepare and reconcile financial statements
  • Process journal entries and ensure accuracy in financial reporting
  • Reconcile bank accounts and generate financial reports
  • Utilize accounting software to track and manage finances


Requirements

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping and financial statement preparation
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Xero experience is a plus)
  • Strong understanding of finance journal entries and general accounting principles
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Experience in the building and construction industry is an advantage
