Pullman Auckland is seeking a dedicated Store Receiving Officer to ensure the efficient and accurate receipt and distribution of goods. The Store Receiving Officer will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory integrity coordinating monthly stocktakes and safeguarding storage areas. This position requires excellent organizational skills attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
- Ensure all incoming goods conform to the quantities and quality specified in purchase orders and meet the required specifications.
- Accurately record and document all received goods in a timely manner.
- Coordinate monthly stock takes in collaboration with department managers.
- Conduct monthly inventory counts in the stores and input data into the Inventory System.
- Facilitate the proper storage and distribution of goods to sub-stores or user departments.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderly arrangement of storage areas.
- Implement proper storage methods to prevent environmental damage and minimize pilfering.
- Take responsibility for the security of storage areas to prevent losses due to environmental factors or theft.
- Ensure that all returned goods to suppliers are properly authorized and accounted for.
Qualifications :
In order to be successful for this role:
- Availability to work Monday to Friday.
- Ability to start work at 6 AM.
- Capable of lifting at least 20 kgs
- Proficiency in computer applications including Excel and Opera Cloud (knowledge is an advantage).
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
- Strong multitasking abilities and a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
