Job Summary
Quality Assurance and Sustainability:
Develop standardized product specifications in cooperation with Sourcing which cover the requirements of the Selling countries.
Ensure desired quality of goods by implementing quality control processes
Ensure proper development of Own Brand products in compliance with Metro requirements.
Continuously monitor the quality of goods through quality control processes including pre-shipment checks laboratory testing and supplier qualification procedures.
Monitor the supplier performance and ensure proper supplier technical visits/audits.
Investigation/monitoring customer complaints
Support the Sourcing & Selling Department with QA-related topics to continuously improve supplier and product quality/performance.
Supervising Sustainability Strategy (ESG strategy)
People Management:
Lead young and motivated team
Organize and maintain performance and talent management.
Qualifications :

Leadership:Capable of situational leadership including directing coaching supporting and delegating.

Discipline:Focus on maintaining standard processes with excellent communication skills.
Independence:Self-disciplined with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Willingness to Travel:Open to travel as required.
Experience and other knowledge:
Language:Fluent in English; additional languages are appreciated.
Experience:Minimum of 5 years in the field of Quality Assurance specifically within the meat business.
People Management:Demonstrated leadership in team development and oversight
