We are seeking a professional and organised Front Office employee to join our team in Amsterdam Netherlands. As the first point of contact for our organisation you will play a crucial role in creating a positive impression for visitors clients and colleagues alike.
- Greet and direct visitors ensuring a warm and professional welcome
- Manage incoming phone calls emails and correspondence efficiently
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for executives and meeting rooms
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing photocopying and data entry
- Coordinate travel arrangements and process expense reports when required
- Assist with basic accounting tasks such as processing invoices and maintaining records
- Ensure the reception area and meeting rooms are tidy and well-presented at all times
- Liaise with various departments to facilitate smooth communication and operations
- Provide general support to the office team as needed
Qualifications :
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Strong customer service orientation with a professional and friendly demeanour
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Fluency in English; Dutch language skills are highly desirable
- 1-2 years of experience in a front office or receptionist role
- Secondary school diploma or equivalent; a diploma in hospitality or business administration is preferred
- Exceptional organisational skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
