Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design development and implementation of SAP MDG solutions ensuring alignment with enterprise data management strategy.
Oversee MDG data models UI configurations workflows validations derivations and BRF-based rules framework.
Develop and optimize ABAP enhancements BADIs BAPIs and user exits while conducting code reviews and enforcing best practices.
Design and implement integration between MDG SAP ECC/S4HANA SAP PI/PO CPI and external systems.
Work with IDocs OData RFC ALE and Web Services for seamless data distribution.
Collaborate with enterprise architects to define integration strategies in hybrid/multi-system landscapes.
Provide expert guidance across MDG domains such as Material Business Partner Customer Vendor and Finance.
Conduct workshops create functional/technical specifications and support UAT activities.
Drive data quality governance policies and process harmonization initiatives.
Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders on SAP MDG strategy roadmap and innovations.
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
Strong hands-on expertise in:
ABAP BRF FPM/UI Workflow BADIs BAPIs OData services
MDG Data Modeling Data Replication Framework (DRF) Rule-based workflows
Proven experience integrating MDG with SAP ECC/S4HANA and external applications.
Deep understanding of Master Data domains (Business Partner Material Vendor Customer Finance).
Experience with SAP PI/PO CPI IDocs Web Services ALE RFC.
Strong techno-functional background with ability to bridge business and IT requirements.
Minimum 1 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA MDG FI implementation experience.
Excellent communication stakeholder management and advisory skills.
