Job Description
As a Senior IT Professional - Big Data Search you are expected to take a leadership role on Search technical issues provide guidance to junior developer and involve in project discussion and brainstorming.
The position provides day to day operational support and project delivery in collaboration with Project Manager and other team members.
He/she will be engaged mainly operation support and also involved in new projects and transition them to the operation team after completion.
Develops own business / technical know-how continuously and learns from other subject matter experts in order to understand business requirements/processes.
The position holder will be the technical know-how for Hadoop toolset Java programming and RDF/OWL
Understands business requirements and processes and translates them into solution designs.
Conducts hands-on development customizing and operation support of search solution.
Ensures appropriate system testing and project management documentation.
Acts as a consultant to business and Project/Informatics management.
Required skills:
Good knowledge of Java programming
Good knowledge of RDF/OWL processing techniques
Good knowledge of Hadoop toolset
YARN (with HDFS knowledge)
HBase
Solr
Hive
Pig
Spark
Oozie
Good knowledge of Python
Deep knowledge about document/text processing
Ability to communicate effectively
Fluent in English spoken and written
