As we continue to grow across the Asia-Pacific region we are expanding our sales team with collective mission on regional and national sales growth. This role offers ample opportunities and resources to develop new businesses and nurture client relationships within the food ingredient sector on top of flexible work-from-home options. Key Responsibilities:
Territory Management: Lead sales development efforts across assigned sales regions including Central Northern Southern and East Coast. We are keeping the option open based on candidates established client base and current location.
Business Development: Identify visit and secure new customers in the Bakery Food Service Ingredient Retail and Medium-sized Industrial sectors.
Product Promotion: Expand awareness and adoption of the company s product portfolio within the assigned territory.
Sales Support: Prepare and manage customer quotations ensuring accuracy and timely responses.
Account Management: Oversee customer accounts and distributor network. Follow up on payments and maintain healthy account balances.
Client Development: Collaborate with existing customers to introduce new products and increase the number of SKUs per account.
Performance Goals: Consistently achieve or exceed monthly sales targets and be rewarded.
A Diploma or Bachelors Degree in a relevant field.
At least 5 years of proven experience in the food and bakery industry with a strong understanding of the Malaysian market.
Proficient in English and local languages (Mandarin Bahasa Malaysia etc) with excellent communication skills.
Must possess own transport and be willing to travel within the assigned sales region.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability of active listening persuasive and collaborative spirit.
Highly self-motivated with a problem-solving mindset and the ability to negotiate and drive results.
Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Word & Excel) is required.
Key competencies include strategic communication client relationship building & management excellent teamwork and analytical thinking.
