Job Summary
The Commercial Product & Platform vision develops global technology products and platforms that delight our customers and enable our crews to operate our restaurants reliably and effectively. Senior Engineering Manager reports to Director of Engineering. As the leader of our Mobile software engineering team you will be responsible for guiding the team in achieving functional expertise and delivering high-quality services for our mobile web and third-party integrations. This is an exciting opportunity for you to play a critical role in transforming our global mobile application (GMA) working closely with our Technical Leads MCX and Architecture teams.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
- Mentor and grow a high-performing mobile engineering team.
- Define career paths and enable technical and soft skill development.
- Foster a culture of accountability collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Use metrics to measure the engineering performance.
Technical Strategy & Execution
- Guide architecture decisions and ensure scalable secure mobile solutions.
- Maintain hands-on technical credibility to support and challenge the team.
- Define and implement CI/CD pipelines branching strategies and release processes.
Product & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with Tech Leaders Product Managers Designers and cross-functional teams to align on goals.
- Use metrics and dashboards to monitor app performance and user satisfaction.
Operational Excellence
- Drive KPIs A/B testing and data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure high availability performance and security of mobile applications.
- Lead initiatives to reduce technical debt and improve engineering velocity.
Qualifications :

- A bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience.
- English proficiency required B2-C1.
- 7 years experience in mobile development (Swift Kotlin Objective-C Java).
- 5 years in engineering leadership roles managing cross-functional teams.
- Desirable Experience with cross-platform frameworks (React Native Flutter) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns (MVVM MVI VIPER etc.).
- Proficiency in Git workflows CI/CD tools and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
- Ability to navigate complex matrix organization structures.
