Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Java applications to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.
- Collaborate with senior developers to design and implement new features.
- Write clean maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews to enhance the quality of our software.
- Utilize version control systems for source code management.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing applications.
- Assist in the development of technical documentation.
- Work with SQL databases to perform data manipulation and analysis.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs for seamless integration.
- Adhere to Agile methodologies and participate in sprint planning sessions.
- Test and validate applications to meet strict quality standards.
- Support the implementation of application updates and new releases.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements.
- Participate in team meetings to share progress and discuss challenges.
- Stay updated with the latest Java technologies and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in Java development.
- Proficiency in Java programming language.
- Familiarity with Spring framework.
- Experience with SQL databases and writing complex queries.
- Understanding of RESTful web services.
- Basic knowledge of version control systems like Git.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks like JUnit or TestNG.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and tools.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for delivering high-quality software.
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
- Familiarity with application deployment processes.
