We are currently seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our dynamic team at our office in India.
Role Responsibilities:
- Design and implement advanced machine learning models to solve complex business problems.
- Conduct extensive data analysis to identify trends patterns and insights from large datasets.
- Develop and validate predictive models to enhance decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project goals and deliver actionable insights.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and engaging manner.
- Advise on data collection strategies to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in data science.
- Mentor junior data scientists and provide guidance on technical projects.
- Utilize big data technologies for data processing and analysis.
- Design data visualization dashboards to communicate insights effectively.
- Contribute to the development of data science best practices within the organization.
- Work closely with IT teams to ensure proper data infrastructure and access.
- Analyze and interpret complex data sets to support project initiatives.
- Execute A/B testing to evaluate model performance and business impact.
- Document methodologies and processes for reproducibility and transparency.
Qualifications:
- Masters or PhD in Data Science Statistics Computer Science or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in data science or analytical roles.
- Proficiency in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with relevant libraries (e.g. Pandas NumPy).
- Experience with statistical analysis tools (e.g. R SAS).
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
- Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g. Hadoop Spark).
- Good understanding of data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience in mentoring or leading teams is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated ability to convey complex technical information to a non-technical audience.
