Job Summary
Job Title: CAD Operator
Main Responsibilities
Prepare revise and update detailed 2D/3D CAD drawings and designs based on project specifications.
Interpret engineering sketches layouts and technical requirements into accurate CAD models.
Maintain organized drawing files and documentation for easy retrieval and project tracking.
Collaborate with engineers architects and project managers to ensure design accuracy and compliance.
Conduct quality checks on drawings to verify dimensions tolerances and design standards.
Modify existing designs to incorporate changes and improvements as required.
Ensure that all designs comply with industry standards safety norms and company guidelines.
Assist in preparing detailed layouts assembly drawings and shop drawings for manufacturing or construction.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors to clarify technical drawing requirements.
Provide timely support to ongoing projects by delivering accurate drawings within set deadlines.
Essential Qualifications
Diploma / ITI / BE in Mechanical Civil Electrical or related engineering field.
Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a CAD Operator in a professional environment.
Strong understanding of drafting standards design documentation and industry practices.
Skills Required
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other CAD software (SolidWorks Revit or equivalent is an advantage).
Good understanding of engineering drawings specifications and 3D modeling.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to interpret technical documents blueprints and construction plans.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with engineers architects and project teams.
