Job Description
- Design build and maintain efficient reusable and reliable Ruby code
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions to these problems
- Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications
- Help maintain code quality organization and reusability
- You will also maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications.
- You will collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to develop and launch new features.
Qualifications :
- Extensive experience with Ruby on Rails along with other common libraries such as RSpec Sidekiq etc.
- Good understanding of the syntax of Ruby.
- Experience in one or more relational database (PostgreSQL MySQL .. etc).
- Experience in HTML CSS pre-processor (SASS or LESS) and client-side scripting libraries and framework (Javascript Jquery AngularJS Reactjs etc).
- Experience with RESTful APIs and back-end services
- Experience in developing highly interactive applications
- Proficient understanding of Git
- Experience of managing application environment in Heroku
- Excellent Oral and written communication skills
- Aptitude for teamwork and ability to mentor juniors.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-moving organisation and help the organisation achieve objectives.
