Job Description

Role Summary

The Ecosystem Lead will be responsible for end-to-end management and expansion of the skilling ecosystem in the assigned region. This includes designing and implementing skilling programs establishing strong partnerships with employers and training partners and ensuring high-quality outcomes in student training placement and career success.



Key Responsibilities

  • Program Leadership & Delivery
    • Drive the complete lifecycle of skilling programs from design development and partner onboarding to execution monitoring and impact measurement.
    • Ensure alignment of skilling initiatives with national and state-level employment priorities.
  • Ecosystem Development
    • Build and scale a demand-led ecosystem by onboarding employers and identifying sector-specific talent needs.
    • Expand the supply-side ecosystem by signing up new training partners based on regional demand and industry requirements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Engage effectively with government bodies vocational training providers (VTPs) ITIs Polytechnics and other ecosystem actors to co-create impactful solutions.
    • Actively represent the Foundation in industry forums academia and policy platforms to shape and contribute to the broader skilling discourse.
  • Process Management
    • Design and institutionalize scalable processes across the student lifecycle from mobilization counselling training placement to post-placement tracking.
    • Create operational frameworks that break complex implementation plans into actionable micro-processes.


Required Experience & Skills

  • 14 18 years of experience in skilling education delivery or talent development domains with proven experience across multiple delivery modes (digital blended classroom).
  • Demonstrated experience in employer engagement and establishing large-scale partnerships for placement and industry alignment.
  • Deep understanding of student journey with experience in counselling mobilization training placement and post-placement tracking.
  • Strong background in channel development (employers and training partners) and familiarity with the vocational training landscape.
  • Prior experience collaborating with government bodies academic institutions and industry associations on skilling or education projects.
  • Excellent project management capabilities stakeholder relationship skills and process orientation.
  • Should be actively involved in industry or skilling forums and networks.




Job Description for Program Manager under Wadhwani Innovation Network AICTE Indovation Center Partnership Background The Wadhwani Innovation Network (WIN) is dedicated to driving innovation, translation and entrepreneurship with a prime objective of fast-tracking commercialization of academic research in cutting-edge areas such as biotechnology, bioengineering, synthetic biology, healthtech, artificial intelligence, semiconductors, spacetech, advanced computing, quantum technology, critical minerals and mining. These transformative initiatives will be implemented through strategic partnerships with various academic institutions / incubators / Government agencies such as AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education). The Ministry of Education's Innovation Cell (MIC), in collaboration with AICTE, has established 13 Indovation Centers across the country to foster innovation and entrepreneurship in higher education institutions. These Indovation Centers, operating in a hub-spoke model, aim to facilitate technology transfer, IPR, commercialization, and provide a one-stop resource for information on innovation and startup schemes. The mission of the Wadhwani Innovation Network AICTE Indovation Center partnership is to accelerate innovation and translate multi-disciplinary research into new products and startups. Post/ Requirement Educational Qualifications and Experience Required Program Manager Essential: . or MSc (engineering or science disciplines) or MBA Desirable: Additional qualification in management or law or patent agent. Experience: More than three years experience in incubation, IP development & commercialization, technology transfer, business development a research or academic environment or in a technology transfer / incubator office/research park etc. Deliverables: Coordination of Innovation Programmes, stakeholder liaison, and HUB-SPOKE operation plan implementation. Carry out policy research, analysis and documents, development of reports Communication material development for IP and Technology transfer related activities. Design and implement capacity building programs, trainings etc. on regular basis. Handhold institutional resources for managing IPRs & Technology Transfer assignments in SPOKE institutions. Support in market assessment of identified technologies, stakeholder mapping and coordination. Build and manage IP repository, technology compendium development at the centre level. Innovation and entrepreneurship promotion and development in HEIs. Streamlining incubation and pre-incubation system in HEIs Assist the manager and handhold Innovation fellow and other team members at the Center. Location: Ahmedabad, Chennai, Kanpur, Guwahati, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad
