Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Designer for Construction Plans to join our team. The role involves translating design concepts into accurate detailed and compliant construction documentation. The Designer will work closely with architects engineers and construction teams to ensure designs are functional cost-effective and aligned with project requirements.

Requirements

Collaborate with architects engineers and construction stakeholders to develop design concepts.
Prepare detailed construction drawings using CAD and BIM software ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
Develop piping layouts HVAC ductwork designs electrical system designs and other related construction drawings.
Create and present design proposals to clients and project teams.
Coordinate with engineering and construction teams to ensure feasibility and alignment with project goals.
Conduct site visits for design validation progress monitoring and issue resolution.
Select appropriate construction materials and ensure sustainability where applicable.
Maintain accurate project documentation records and revisions.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends technologies and regulations to continuously improve design practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Architecture Civil Engineering Building Design or related field.
Proven experience in architectural design construction or building design.
Strong proficiency in CAD (AutoCAD Revit etc.) and BIM software.
Solid understanding of building codes construction methods and technical standards.
Excellent visual and spatial awareness with attention to detail.
Strong communication and presentation skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects.
Familiarity with project management tools and willingness for continuous learning.
