Job Summary

TPF Recruitment is delighted to be working with a highly regarded and forward-thinking accountancy firm based in Bexhill. Due to continued growth we are seeking an experienced Taxation Senior to join their friendly professional team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a long-standing and respected practice that delivers high-quality personalised services to a portfolio of self-employed professionals. You ll be part of a collaborative team working closely with both clients and colleagues.

The Role

You ll take full ownership of your own client portfolio. Responsibilities include:

Managing a portfolio of self-employed professionals
Preparing Income & Expenditure accounts from varied sources (e.g. salary rental income)
Completing personal tax returns and HMRC submissions
Carrying out pension tax calculations and advising on pension tax issues (full training provided)
Delivering ad hoc tax advice when required
Building strong long-term relationships with clients and internal teams

Requirements

What We re Looking For

Previous experience in a UK accountancy practice is essential
A qualification such as ACCA ACA ATT or CTA is desirable (or qualified by experience/time-barred)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
A proactive problem solver with excellent communication skills
Able to thrive in a fast-paced client-focused environment
