Job Description
What Youll Do:
Operate a 20T excavator confidently digging strip foundations and shaping ground
Use GPS technology or be willing to learn GPS machine control
Work with trench boxes manhole boxes drag boxes and trench sheets safely
Read and understand levels and site drawings to ensure accurate work
Follow dig permits and work carefully around live services using service avoidance techniques
Carry out daily safety checks basic maintenance and keep your machine clean and well-maintained
Show respect for your equipment and keep it in top condition
Manage your time well and work proactively to meet deadlines
What Were Looking For:
Experience operating a 20T excavator (or similar machinery)
Ability to work with GPS machine control is a bonus but not essentialtraining can be provided
Skilled in reading levels and site plans
Experience working safely around live services
Reliable punctual and a good team player
Right to work in the UK
Additional CPCS/NPORS tickets (Telehandlers Dumpers Rollers)
