Coders Connect is supporting a pioneering biotech company building cutting-edge solutions in life sciences. Data and AI are becoming central to their future and they re now entering a pivotal phase: shaping their AI strategy from the ground up. To do this we re looking for a Senior AI Consultant (or similar profile) who knows how to put an AI strategic vision in place with hands-on technical depth.
This is not a typical Data Scientist position. We re looking for someone who can:
- Define and shape our AI vision & strategy while staying deeply connected to data.
- Translate complex business needs into clear actionable AI roadmaps.
- Partner with scientists (Bioinformaticians) engineers and leadership to ensure data is structured stored and leveraged effectively.
- Build from scratch: lead the journey from data foundations to impactful AI-driven insights.
- Act as an internal expert and sparring partner for our leadership while collaborating closely with the data science "team".
What You ll Do:
- Evaluate our current data landscape and design the future AI/ML roadmap.
- Work hands-on with data: cleaning structuring colloborate building prototypes and validating models.
- Advise on best practices in data storage annotation and model development.
- Mentor and elevate other team members bringing a strategic layer to ongoing projects across the company.
- Serve as the bridge between scientific teams and the business ensuring AI solutions solve real problems.
Requirements
What We re Looking For:
- 8 years experience in AI/Data Science roles including experience building AI initiatives/navigating AI first strategies from scratch in a company.
- Deep strength in mathematics statistics and machine learning fundamentals.
- Proven ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on delivery.
- Excellent collaborator communicator and problem-solver.
- Comfortable working in dynamic evolving environments where the AI strategy is still being defined.
- (Bonus) Background in biotech life sciences or related fields is welcome but not required.
- Strong team player; start-up mindset.
- Fluent in French and English.
