Playtechs IMS unit is looking for an Operations Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment balances attention to detail with big-picture thinking and has excellent communication skills.

- Keep the lights on for critical parts of Playtechs software and cloud solutions.
- Create automation tooling to carry out configuration and product changes in production systems.
- Constantly re-think and improve our current processes.
- Investigate and analyze problems in production environments using application logs source code development tools and documentation.
- Take an active role in knowledge sharing and ensure effective information flow between all relevant parties.
Qualifications :

- Are familiar with Linux environments and command-line tools/Bash scripting.
- Know how to work with cloud platforms and tools such as AWS Kubernetes and K9s.
- Are comfortable with Java Python and SQL (Oracle MySQL).
- Adapt quickly in constantly changing circumstances and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
- Balance strong attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger picture.
- Communicate fluently in English both written and spoken.
- Bring positive energy and open communication style to the team.
- Possess a strong sense of ownership and an inner drive to continuously improve.

- Experience with configuration management/automation in Puppet.
- Experience with InfluxDB VictoriaMetrics and Grafana.
- Experience with Docker and NGINX.
