Job Description
Diamond Trading covers all aspects of rough diamond sales and is a critical part of the De Beers Group operations from a financial cash flow and delivery of the Origins strategy standpoint.
We are seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to lead financial planning and analysis across Diamond Trading entities driving strategic insights and partnering with senior stakeholders to shape the future of our business.
This is a high-impact role focused on delivering robust financial budgets forecasts and performance analysis. You will be the key liaison between the business and Group Finance ensuring clarity coherence and confidence in financial planning.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Budget Planning & Forecasting
- Lead the financial budget planning and forecasting processes across Diamond Trading.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure informed and strategic financial planning.
- Review and submit HFM datasets; prepare Flash reports QPRs and results presentations.
- Run monthly results meetings and support external results presentations.
- Develop and maintain annual and multi-year rolling business plans.
- Collaborate with IT to manage and enhance the SAP finance environment.
- Continuously optimize financial planning analytics to support senior management decision-making.
Business Partnering
- Deliver insightful analysis to support strategic conversations and decisions.
- Provide regular and ad hoc reporting to monitor performance against KPIs.
- Track project costs and initiative performance.
- Identify trends and variances to inform forecasting and budgeting.
Finance Function & People Leadership
- Manage and develop an FP&A Analyst through coaching and feedback.
- Lead initiatives to streamline and optimize financial processes.
Qualifications :
Qualifications & Experience
- Recognised accounting qualification (CIMA ACCA ACA) or Chartered Accountant.
- Proven experience in FP&A or leading a finance team in a multinational complex environment.
- Expertise in financial modelling and strategic planning.
- Proficiency in SAP and advanced Microsoft Office skills.
