As the Audio Visual Solutions Lead reporting into the Head of Product & Services you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end development of Audio Visual (AV) solutions tailored to JB Hi-Fis B2B customers. This customer-facing role ensures that all solutions are technically robust commercially sound and ready for seamless delivery. You will also be a key enabler of services-led selling and will work closely with Business Development Managers Inside Sales and Strategic Account Managers on large and complex opportunities.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Scoping designing and validating AV solutions in collaboration with the Product Solutions Manager AV & Installs ensuring alignment with product strategy and leveraging JB Hi-Fis ecosystem of vendors distributors and delivery partners.
- Leveraging vendor relationships product catalogues and strategic distribution partners to shape solution designs and delivery methods.
- Conducting customer discovery sessions and site inspections to define technical and functional requirements.
- Presenting client-facing proposals solution documents and tender submissions tailored to business needs.
- Contributing to the development of standardised AV design frameworks solution templates and commercial documentation.
- Ensuring solutions are fully documented and transition-ready including scope of works bill of materials vendor dependencies and commercial structure.
Qualifications :
To be Successful in this role you will need:
- 6 years in AV solution development AV technical sales or systems integration.
- Experience in designing and developing AV solutions including meeting rooms digital signage hybrid collaboration environments and distributed AV.
- Client-facing experience preparing and presenting AV proposals and solution documentation.
- Strong working knowledge of modern AV solution categories including meeting room systems distributed video platforms digital signage and wireless content sharing tools used across commercial and education environments.
- Experience working with a wide range of commercial AV brands spanning core infrastructure control systems display technologies collaboration platforms and peripheral hardware.
- Proven ability to lead multi-party solution development with vendors distributors and delivery teams.
- Knowledge of networking and AV-over-IP technologies (e.g. VLANs switching) and accessibility technologies.
- Valid drivers licence vehicle and willingness to travel for customer site visits.
- Valid Working with Children Check (or able to obtain one).
- Certifications such as AVIXA CTS Extron Control Specialist or vendor-led AV design certifications (desirable).
- Tertiary qualifications in Technology Engineering Business or related field (desirable).
- Project Management certifications (e.g. PRINCE2 PMP) or Product Management certifications (e.g. Pragmatic Institute AIPMM) (desirable).
