You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailAs a Senior People Partner youll work closely with leaders across our Roads and Port divisions providing expert advice and hands-on support across the full spectrum of people matters. This role is well-suited to someone who thrives in an operational environment balancing strategic HR initiatives with practical on-the-ground delivery.
Youll act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees helping to build leadership capability manage complex employee relations and drive initiatives that support our growth journey.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with business leaders to deliver people strategies that align with operational and commercial objectives.
Provide expert guidance on employee relations performance management conflict resolution and change management.
Lead industrial relations matters including enterprise bargaining agreement (EBA) negotiations and union engagement.
Support leadership capability through coaching mentoring and development initiatives.
Lead and contribute to HR projects and frameworks including culture engagement workforce planning and compliance.
Drive best-practice processes across recruitment onboarding employee development and retention.
Work collaboratively with the broader People team to deliver consistent and effective outcomes.
Regular travel to our Geraldton Operations is a requirement for this role
Qualifications :
5 years experience in a HR Business Partner Senior Advisor or similar role.
Strong industrial relations and employee relations capability with proven experience in EBA negotiations and union engagement.
Experience working in mining logistics transport or heavy industry is highly regarded.
Proven ability to influence and coach leaders at all levels.
Commercial acumen with a practical gets it done mindset.
Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced operational environment.
